Module 1. Introduction to Computers

On completion of this module, you should be able to:-

  • Identify the different components of the PC.
  • Use the keyboard and mouse (Touchpad).
  • Understanding Applications, Softwares and Hardwares.
  • Introduction to different types of Operating Systems.
  • Basic MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Electronic Mail.
  • Create and save Documents/Database/Spreadsheet/Presentation.
  • Send, receive, and process emails.
  • Be able to type, edit and save your work.
  • Typing and Speed accuracy.

Module 2. Microsoft Word

Word is the word processing application in the Microsoft Office suite. Learn how to use Word’s powerful tools for creating professional and eye-catching documents.
On completion of this module, you should be able to:-

  • Insert and delete sections within a document while maintaining document integrity.
  • Insert, edit, and delete headers and footers within a document.
  • Facilitate online review of documents using comments and tracking changes.
  • Create and use Styles in a document

  • Create, open, and save spreadsheets.

This module shows you how to use Outlook functions, as well as how to become Internet savvy by knowing how to browse smartly, maintain your safety and network socially while online.
